Program for 2nd-Year Students
We try our best to establish the calendar at the start of the year and not make any changes. Given the number of presenters involved with the program, there may be occasions when we have to make changes. If that becomes necessary, we will communicate via email and announce the changes on this website and on the Google calendar.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Your Confirmation ceremony is scheduled for October 24 at 10:00 am at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford. A celebration with your Parish at St. Margaret will be at the 10:30 am Mass on Sunday, October 25 followed by refreshments in the Church Hall.
Please remember to bring your journal and pen (distributed at Orientation) to each event and workshop.
All students and at least one parent (or sponsor) are to attend these events. They part of the Confirmation program and not optional.
- Orientation – September 13 – 7:30 pm at St. Margaret Church.
- Candle Ceremony Mass – Select one date and time to attend in September.
- Retreat with Your Sponsor – Select one date and time to attend in January or February.
All students are to attend these events. They are not optional.
- Confession Review class – September 20 at 6:00 pm at St. Margaret Church
- Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession). Select a time slot from two available evenings.
Confirmation Weekend
- Sacrament of Confirmation – Saturday, October 24 at 10:00 am.
- Ceremony takes place at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, 140 Farmington Avenue, Hartford.
- Details on arrival time, parking, etc. will be sent as the date gets closer.
- Celebration with Your Parish – Sunday, October 25 at 10:30 am Mass.

Assignments due this year:
- My Sponsor Is… – should have been submitted by now.
- Sponsor Affirmation – should have been submitted by now.
