2nd-Year Students
Important Highlights of the 2nd- Year Program
NOTE: We try our best to establish the calendar at the start of the year and not make any changes. Given the number of presenters and activities involved with the program, there may be occasions when we may have to make changes. If that becomes necessary, we will communicate via email and announce the changes on this website and on the Google calendar.
Remember to bring your journal and pen (distributed at Orientation) to each event and workshop.
All students and at least one parent are to attend:
- Orientation – TBD – 7:30 pm in the Church.
- Who Was Padre Pio? – January 21, 6 pm at St. Margaret Church. More details to follow.
- Ash Wednesday Service – February 10, 7 pm at St. Margaret Church.
- Stations of the Cross. Select one of two available evenings during Lent.
All students are to attend:
- LURES. – TBD Attendance required by the Archdiocese. Select from one of two available times.
- Confession: How To class – TBD
- Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession). Select a time slot from two available evenings.
- At least four workshops to be completed by the end of February 2027.
- Loaves and Fishes and one Secondary Service Project.
Confirmation Ceremony:
- Date of the ceremony TBD
- Ceremony takes place at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, 140 Farmington Avenue, Hartford.
- Details on arrival time, parking, etc. will be sent as the date gets closer.
Assignments due this year:
- My Sponsor Is… – should have been submitted by now.
- Sponsor Affirmation – should have been submitted by now.
- Confirmation/Saint Name – should have been submitted by now.
- Loaves and Fishes Reflection – one week after serving at Loaves and Fishes
