2nd-Year Students
Important Highlights of the 2nd- Year Program
NOTE: We try our best to establish the calendar at the start of the year and not make any changes. Given the number of presenters and activities involved with the program, there may be occasions when we may have to make changes. If that becomes necessary, we will communicate via email and announce the changes on this website and on the Google calendar.
Remember to bring your journal and pen (distributed at Orientation) to each event and workshop.
All students and at least one parent are to attend:
- Orientation – September 10 – 7:30 pm in the Church.
- Meant to Live for More with Paul J. Kim – September 16, 7 pm at St. Margaret Church.
- Who Was Padre Pio? – January 21, 6 pm at St. Margaret Church. More details to follow.
- Ash Wednesday Service – February 14, 7 pm at St. Margaret Church.
- Stations of the Cross. Select one of two available evenings during Lent.
All students are to attend:
LURES. – December 17. Attendance required by the Archdiocese. Select from one of two available times.
- Confession: How To class – February 25.
- Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession). Select a time slot from two available evenings.
- At least four workshops to be completed by the end of February 2024.
- Loaves and Fishes and one Secondary Service Project.
Confirmation Ceremony:
- Date of the ceremony will be determined in January 2024 when the spring dates are released.
- Ceremony takes place at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Hartford. We are aiming for these dates:
- Choice 1 – Sunday, March 17, 2 pm
- Choice 2 – Saturday, March 20, 10 am OR Sunday, March 21, 2 pm
- Choice 3 – Saturday, April 27, 10 am
